Privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
1. Who we are
This notice explains how Blueberry Intelligence & Automation ("Blueberry", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit blueberryia.com or contact us. Blueberry is based in Nigeria and works with clients in other countries. We are the controller of the personal data described here.
Contact for any privacy question or request: ada@blueberryia.com.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry details you send us through the contact form or by email: your name, organization, organization type, work email address, and what you tell us about your project, timeline and interests.
- Correspondence that follows, such as emails and meeting notes.
- Basic technical data that our website host records automatically to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
This website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or session-recording tools. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in future, we will update this notice first.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement: based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To run and protect the website, including preventing spam and abuse: based on our legitimate interests.
- To keep records we are required to keep once you become a client: based on legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not use your enquiry to train AI models.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us operate, under appropriate terms: our email provider, our website host and, if used, the service that delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some of these providers may store or process data outside Nigeria or your own country. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards available under the applicable law, such as the provider's contractual commitments.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries that do not lead to an engagement for up to 24 months after our last contact, then delete them. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement and any legal or accounting obligations require.
7. How we protect it
We limit access to the people who need it, use providers with appropriate security, and ask you not to send passwords, API keys or sensitive personal data through the contact form.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it).
To use any of these rights, email ada@blueberryia.com. We will reply within the time the law requires. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or the authority where you live.
9. Client project data
Data that clients share with us during an engagement is handled under that engagement's contract and, where agreed, a non-disclosure agreement. Those documents take priority over this notice for project data.
10. Children
This website is intended for organizations and is not directed at children.
11. Changes
We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
